To be judged in the hat contest, please come by The Capital’s tent near the paddock from noon to 1 p.m. April 11. Winners of the 2009 Hat Contest The winners in the children’s category: Stephanie, Shelby & Suzanne Brown; Quinn Riddle. The winners in the adult category: Jana Williams and Fran Grega. Winner of the Roedown Raffle for Chance, Inc. & Maryland Therapeutic Riding was Alex Beitner of Baltimore. She won the equisite diamond and citrine necklace from Zachary's Jewelers in Annapolis. The winner of the Paul Reed Smith guitar was Sabrina McKnight.
